@helpseanstudy Gamepad Peripheral
The brief for this project was to create a personalized peripheral. As a grad student who also loves video games, my intention was to build a device that would help me focus on my studies and avoid prolonged-procrastination. The device was operated by a button which was attached to the power button of my gamepad. When I turned the gamepad on, the button started a timer function on the Adafruit Feather, which would send a signal via adafrit.io and PubNub to an IFTTT applet, which in turn would send an automated tweet to my followers if I’d been playing for longer than hour. Note that this feed is no longer active, as I needed the micro-controller for more projects.
